Who Wears it Best: The Wool Blend Striped Down Vest

WWIB-lead.jpg

The beauty of the puffer vest is its versatility. Toasty enough to warm you through all but the most dire moments of winter, it can be worn and layered with just about anything. Our wool-blend version has been de-puffed for less bulk and de-shined, for a more classic feel than Diddy's shiny '90s puffers. And as proven by our boys in Georgetown and Boston, this is an item that can be dressed up with bow ties or dressed down with buffalo check. Check out how our associates wear it after the jump and tell us who you think wears it best in the comments.

Appropriate that these tough guys are stalking the back alleys of Georgetown. Finny works our favorite pattern of the season (buffalo check), adds a hoodie and some great rain boots for a perfect on-trend look. Bryce gives us a pop of color to make things interesting, and finishes off with the perfect knit hat.

A little further north, our Boston gents skew to the dressy side of puffy. Taking a cue from our recent American Mix Master post, Christian layers up plaid and tweed houndstooth with bright cords on bottom. Jim also keeps it classy with a proper collared shirt, but adds skinny cords, combat boots and an untuck for a look that says, “Whatever, at least I’m wearing a tie.”

So, which city wears it best?
